In most metric systems the main power unit is the litre.
There are two-litre, half-litre and three-quarter litre bottles.
The multiples are a decilitre which is 10 litres, the hectolitre is equivalent to 100 litres and the kilolitre is equal to 1000 litres.
- The litre submultiples are decilitre is one tenth of a litre, equal to centilitre hundredth millilitre and equivalent to one thousandth of a litre.
The unit of weight is a gram.
The multiples are a decagram which is equal to 10 grams, the Hg, equivalent to 100 grams per kilogram is equal to 1000 grams.
The gram submultiples are decigram, centigram and milligram.
