The decimal system
The decimal number system is made up of ten numbers which are: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. This number system is positional and each number represents a different value depending on where it is placed.

The decimal number system is Indo-Arabic. This system has zero and is positional, additive and mulplicative. There also exists other number systems such as the Roman and Chinease systems.
The number system was invented in India and came to
Europe with the Arabs.
The great merit was the introduction of the concept and zero symbol
which allowed a system where just ten symbols can represent any
number no matter how big it might be and this simplifies the way of solving equations.
The system is dominated by decimals because it is made up
